How to explain it to your child
Journey time = arrival minus departure. Count up to the next full hour, then on.
- From departure to the next full hour. — 06:55 → 07:00 = 5 min
- From the full hour to arrival. — 07:00 → 07:40 = 40 min
- Add both parts. — 5 + 40 = 45 min
Example: Departs 06:55, arrives 07:40: the journey takes 45 minutes.
Every sheet has a QR code: if your child gets stuck, they scan it and get this explanation step by step — without giving the answer away.
