About
Built by a parent. Checked by teachers.
Talentists Tutor isn't a venture-backed app racing to add more screen time. It's a small, deliberate project — here's who's building it and why.
From the founder
I'm Jussi, and I started Talentists because I want my own children to grow up with the kind of focused, satisfying practice I had as a kid — and because I've tried the screen-first alternatives and watched them quietly take the calm out of the room.
The idea is simple: let the paper do the work, and let the phone answer only when a child is genuinely stuck. No streaks, no notifications, nothing engineered to make a seven-year-old open an app tomorrow.
We're going slowly on purpose — a small group of families, in a few subjects, checking that the model actually holds up at the kitchen table before we take it further.

What you can trust.
Checked by teachers.
Every workbook is reviewed by practising teachers in the relevant grade and mapped to the curriculum your child actually follows at school (currently the Berlin & Brandenburg Rahmenlehrplan, grades 1–2).
Private by default.
No advertising, no selling data. A child's work is kept only as long as it's useful, and a parent can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
A weekly note, not a feed.
One short note a week, in plain language, about what a child practised and where they're stuck — not a dashboard designed to be checked constantly.
