How to explain it to your child
Count to the end of the month first, then into the next month.
- How many days are left in this month? — May has 31 days: May 16 → May 31 = 15 days
- Count the remaining days into the next month. — 16 − 15 = 1 → June 1
Example: May 16 + 16 days = June 1.
Every sheet has a QR code: if your child gets stuck, they scan it and get this explanation step by step — without giving the answer away.
