How to explain it to your child
One hour is 60 minutes: hours × 60, then add the extra minutes.
- Turn the hours into minutes: times 60. — 2 h → 2 × 60 = 120 min
- Add the remaining minutes. — 120 + 15 = 135
Example: 2 h 15 min = 2 × 60 + 15 = 135 minutes.
Every sheet has a QR code: if your child gets stuck, they scan it and get this explanation step by step — without giving the answer away.
